[IN-PERSON] “Rag Doll Heart” & Other Stories, with Robert Firpo-Cappiello In-Person
Local author and two-time Emmy nominee Robert Firpo-Cappiello will present a reading of his semi-autobiographical short stories about coming of age in a Catholic neighborhood in the Bronx at the height of the Cold War. His stories transform childhood experiences into a darkly comic interrogation of religion, consumerism, and gender attitudes.
Robert is an award-winning journalist whose creative writing has appeared in Roi Fainéant Press and Cowboy Jamboree. He has performed his stories and songs at NYC-area venues including Irvington Theater, Dixon Place, Rockwood Music Hall, and Freddy’s Bar & Backroom.
